Your lyrics remind me of the great war poets from the first world war (Wilfried Owen etc). Ironic that he was shot for cowardice when it took true courage to do what he did.
Sad, injust story. He may have been shot dead, but his memory has been immortalised now in this song.

I really do feel the meaning in the way you convey your words in this song. To me it has a colonial feeling to it that gives it such a cool edge.
The lyrics take great empathy in the subject but never appear tacky of contrived. I like the harmonies on the backup a lot and it all sound of a great quality. I had to go straight into a 2nd listen to this to get it all in.
Excellent song.

thanks, glad u guys like it. Read about his story the other day, his relatives are still trying to get him pardoned.Story got my blood up and i came home from the pub and the song poured straight out.

What quality... You've got a wonderfully original voice and sound overall, and this song shows it off very well.
